Weiss Hall - Center for Workforce Development

Construction is well underway of a nearly 90,000 square-foot center for workforce development, applied research and outreach, located on the 300 block of Madison Avenue. 

The four-story building will include specialized laboratories, training and education spaces and will be home to two academic departments, student health and wellness. Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025.

Three University of Scranton graduate programs were ranked among the top 40 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Graduate Schools” rankings, released April 8. Business analytics ranked 28th; finance, 31st; and accounting, 39th. Only 25 colleges and universities in the country, including Scranton, have all three programs ranked in the top 40.

Three University of Scranton graduate programs were ranked among the top 40 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Graduate Schools” rankings, released April 8. Business analytics ranked 28th; finance, 31st; and accounting, 39th. Only 25 colleges and universities in the country, including Scranton, have all three programs ranked in the top 40.

Five of The University of Scranton’s graduate programs rank among the top 50 in the nation, in addition to a part-time MBA program that rose 30 spots.
